Everything you need to know about tournament day.
Event Day Schedule
First match at 8:00 AM in both scenarios. In good weather, outdoor courts allow all groups to play at once — finishing over an hour earlier.
8 courts from 8:00 AM (all indoor). All groups play simultaneously — group stage wraps by 10:10 AM. Playoffs on indoor courts. Kids' lessons on outdoor courts from 12:30 PM.

Tournament Format
Draw & Structure
- 32 players (16 doubles teams)
- Round-robin group stage: 4 groups of 4 teams
- Top 2 teams per group advance to playoffs
- Single-elimination bracket: Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Finals + 3rd place match
Scoring
- Group stage: One full set to 6 games, no-ad scoring, tiebreak at 6-all.
- Playoffs (Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Final, 3rd Place): Best of 3 sets, no-ad scoring, tiebreak at 6-all in each set.
- Every team is guaranteed at least 3 matches in group play.
Tiebreakers
When two or more teams in a group finish with the same win-loss record, seeding for the playoff bracket is determined by:
- Head-to-head result - whoever won the match between the tied teams gets the higher seed
- Games won percentage - total games won divided by total games played across all group matches
- Point differential among tied teams - total games won minus total games lost in matches between the tied teams only
- Racket spin - if it's still tied, we settle it the tennis way
Kids' Drop-In Lessons
Free drop-in tennis lessons run on dedicated courts during the playoff rounds. In good weather, kids get all 4 outdoor courts starting at 12:30 PM (after the club's regular lessons wrap up) — roughly 2.5 hours of lesson time alongside the semifinals and finals. If it rains, lessons move to spare indoor courts during the quarterfinal and semifinal windows. All ages and skill levels welcome — no registration required, just bring a racket and a smile!
After-Party at The Quarry
When the last point is played and the trophies are handed out, we'll gather for a post-event celebration at The Quarry from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the “Loft” semi-private space, reserved just for us. All players, volunteers, families, and friends are welcome.
